Well, another month came and went! To be completely honest, I struggled this month. It was a busy month and I had a lot on my plate. Because this is a personal project, I always feel guilty spending time on it when I should maybe be spending that time on other things. I think as moms, that's just how we are wired. We will always feel pulled in 100 different directions, and always feel guilty about something. So it just is what it is!
So... it was the end of the month. I hadn't filmed anything. I had 7 client sessions (all of them for the month in one week). I made a quick trip to Minnesota to see my grandparents. And the weather has been yuck (I'm talking May 1st and snow). So, I about threw in the towel and just about decided to not do it (for my own sanity). But I did it anyway. And as usual, after it's done I am so thankful I did it! I now have everyday memories that would otherwise be forgotten. Now don't get me wrong, you are going to watch this and think "Oh my goodness... her life is so boring", lol! And that's okay. Our life IS boring. But sometimes those boring moments are what make it beautiful. Us. Togetherness. Everyday stuff. It's perfect to me, and afterall, that's what this is all about.
I would have loved to film something interesting. Because we do spend a lot of time at the park, at the beach throwing rocks, riding bikes, going places here and there....when it's nice... it hasn't been lately. I picked the two crappiest days of the month to film this, hah! Goodness are we looking forward to summer!!!
So, here is my Day in the Life film. Just a regular 'ol day - getting kids up and to school, naps, back home from school, dinner, and of course the nightly dance parties (that the kids loooove). There is so much more I wish I could have crammed in here (bedtime routines, Drew's therapy, my workday, etc, but just couldn't fit it in).
Please follow the circle and take a peek at some more crazy good Day in the Life films from other group memebers. Erica Williams is up next with a peek into her life with her adorable girls! <3
