24 Frames. A Filming Project: July - A Year in Review

Another month in the books for my 24 Frames Project! This month's theme was our choice. Instead of filming something new this month, I decided to use some footage I already had (because I swear the unedited, unused files just pile up by the second - I know many of you can feel my pain, lol).

I started getting into video late last fall, when Haddie was about 6 months old. I have quite a bit of footage of her from then on. However, I was happily surprised looking through my archives to find out I had a few clips prior to that. The first video clip I had ever take is the first clip on this film - she was only a few days old!

With that, I decided to do a short video with random clips throughout her first year of life. But in order to keep it balanced (and short!), I only picked a clip or two from each month of life. It's pretty amazing to watch her grow up in just one minute - because some days, it truly feels like if flew by that fast! From her first smile, to first sink bath, food, sitting, crawling, and finally - walking, I was able to capture major milestones and amazing memories I will cherish for years to come.

It's not a work of art by any means, but it's precious little moments captured in time. Moments that are truly meaningful to me. Moments I will never get back but can relive through photos & video clips.

(Eventually when I have more time, I'd like to expand this to make a more comprehensive fusion-style film - adding images in-between the video clips to fill in the gaps).

Please take a moment to follow the blog circle to see what the other talented mama's in our group have to share this month.

Next up is Erica! <3
