#asd #autismmama His smile 😍 He tried on some goggles this week and suddenly feels fearless in the water! He learned how to hold his breath and as you can tell he's quite proud πŸ€— The kids were playing outside last night and came across a box of my old childhood toys I hadn't got around to putting away since I brought the boxes home from my parents last November. Among all the Barbies, Gannon found this little metal BMX bike. It was meant to be for display, not play (and I truthfully have no idea where it came from or why I saved it), but Gannon insisted otherwise. Among his sensory issues he also has major anxieties...seemingly little things will cause major anxiety and meltdowns. The fact that it had break pads and the back wheel did not turn smoothly was too much for him to handle. It was just NOT right. He insisted I fix it. So with some troubleshooting to "fix" (aka break) the wheels and literally cut the brake line, his bike was fixed. If you could have only seen the pure joy in his face after! 😍 I had been taking photos of Haddie playing with her new (old) Barbies, and G ASKED me to take a picture of him and he bike 😍 in his four years, he's never once asked for a picture. He's so proud of his little bike. And this morning he was still glowing and said "Mommy, I just love my bike so much". The little things... So here's G and his broken bike...and the last teeny bit of light ✨
(And yep-we are still in winter PJs around here) πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

#lightitup_blue Every year on my birthday I ask for a family picture. And they have to oblige without complaining because it's all I ask for πŸ˜‚ ..and it's my bday. Well, thanks to all the snow, I didn't get a family picture this year (yet), but will settle for an impromptu snapshot with my babies πŸ’ž although they drive me absolutely bonkers sometimes, they are my best gift ever. Here's to 33 and hands And heart full. ❀️ Sweet dreams sweet cheeks ☺️😴
